What it means
Either: The appliance is operating with an empty tank or the appliance is not delivering heat. Or: The anode current is interrupted. The appliance does not heat up.
How it shows: Service (wrench) symbol flashing
What Stiebel Eltron says to do
If the tank is empty: Fill the appliance with water. The fault code disappears and the appliance starts. If the anode current is interrupted: The contractor needs to check the connection of the impressed current anode and the internal wiring.
